Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme 2018/19

If you are eligible for the Flu Vaccine and have not received this year, please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

You are eligible if you are in a Clinical Risk Group, Pregnant, Over 65, Carer, or Pre School Child (born between 02.07.14 - 01.09.16)

Clinical Risk Groups are as follows;

  • Chronic Respiratory Disease (eg COPD, Asthma that requires the use of inhalers)
  • Chronic Heart Disease
  • Chronic Kidney Disease
  • Chronic Liver Disease
  • Chronic Neurological Disease (eg Stroke)
  • Diabetes
  • Immunosuppression
  • Asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen

Christmas Holiday Closures

The Surgery will be closed Tuesday 25th December & Wednesday 26th December 2018

We will re open on Thursday 27th December at 8.45am for morning open surgery

The Surgery will also be closed on Tuesday 1st January 2019

We will re open on Wednesday 2nd January at 8.45am

If you require a GP when we are closed you can contact the Lagandoc Out of Hours Service on 028 92 602204

Please ensure you order your repeat prescription in good time, to ensure you do not run out of your medicines when the surgery is closed.

Reception is open daily from 8.45am to 11am, and from 1pm to 5.45pm.  Wednesday opening is from 8.45am to 11am. 

* Wednesday morning surgery is for antenatal and postnatal checkups, childhood immunisations and emergencies only. No choice of doctor is available.

The surgery will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, and other bank holidays [or the following Monday].

Named GPs can be requested up to 10am, or when they have 10 patient requests already.

Afternoon appointments can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance - if you do not have an appointment you must phone in. The doctor dealing with emergencies will decide if you are seen that afternoon, or if you should attend the next open surgery.
